Where does your replacement iPhone ship from?

I've got another replacement iPhone 3GS being shipped to me from the US, but I sent mine in to a location in Markham.

Just wondering if this is where all of the warranty replacement iPhones ship from, or if it's because mine's originally from AT&T.

Has anyone here had a replacement iPhone shipped to them? Do you recall where it shipped from?

I was kinda hoping they'd ship me a Canadian one or one unlocked. I'm assuming it'll be another AT&T locked one instead. Hopefully it'll still have 3.1.3 or 4.0.1 so I can unlock it, since I'm planning on selling it, as I already have an iPhone 4 now.

Ah, ok thanks... so I guess they saw that it was an AT&T phone and had one shipped from the US location. I was wondering how that would work out. Now I know.... shame they don't just ship an unlocked one, considering the 'contract' is long gone.

Repair replacements are like-for-like. You won't get an unlocked one for sure.

Yeah, I figured it was unlikely...

Does Apple have a lemon rule? This is the third replacement.

*sigh*....... has 4.0.2 installed. have to wait for a jailbreak now before i can sell it.

i really dont know why apple doesn't offer an unlock for people who aren't on a contract anymore.. it's pretty ridiculous to have to resort to jailbreaking.
