VLC would be powerful on the iPad if it is compatible with AirPlay (this requires they use the native iOS video-out coding) so that different formats could be thrown onto your TV, etc.

Well, in some degree, I can see using this as a way to view video files I've saved to Dropbox without having to convert and sync through iTunes. Certainly a time saver. Are there other advantages I'm missing? Other than flash vids, I'm not really experiencing any situations where I can't view videos on my iPhone 3GS, so I still have to use the iFunia Video converter to convert the Flv videos
