iTether
Unlike MyWi, which requires a jailbroken iPhone, iTether is a Cydia app ($5) for your iPad that allows you to bluetooth tether to your iPhone. In other words, it allows you to use your iPhone's regular Bluetooth tethering to connect your iPad to the internet. This is significant because (1) cheaper than myWi ($20) (2) doesn't require Rock (sketchy app developers) (3) doesn't require jailbreak of iPhone (more mission critical device, in my mind).
$5 one time instead of $20 + regulatory fee per month.
