So I've recently had the joy of playing with the iphone for the first time and ever since (about two weeks ago) I've been trying to find one desperately. The thing is, with all the hype about the iphone 4 coming out, it seems like most carriers (rogers and fido to be exact) have no 3gs in stock because they pulled it.
I'm just looking for some advice to see if there's any way I can really get one in the next week or so? I live in Montreal and I was hoping to get a 3gs 16 gig but as far as I've been told they do not make the 16 gig anymore and its only available in refurbished phones, which is mostly what I've been looking for, but they are all sold out too
So I guess my main question is, did fido and rogers (or maybe apple) really pull the 3gs? for good? and if not then when do you think they will be restocked? Is there anything I'm missing about trying to find this phone or am I really just out of luck for now?
I dont want the iphone 4 because I dont have 200$ to dish out and I dont really think it looks that good/is worth it.
If it matters, Id prefer to get it with fido but they seem to be the ones I'm having the most trouble finding it with. I can get an 8 gig 3gs online from rogers but I really want that to be my last resort.
