Os 3.2 ?

Just tried to install ibooks on my 2G iPhone running 3.1.2 and recieved the following message...

This application requires the iPhone 3.2 Software Update.

When plugged in to iTunes it says my phone is at the most current software. What gives?

You need 4.0 on the iPhone to run iBooks. Or 3.2 on iPad. That's why you get that message.

Yeah they skipped 3.2 for iPhone. Not sure why they put that message in as it doesn't make sense.
