I bought my 3G and 3GS at a Rogers store but this time I"m going for an unlocked iPhone 4 and I'm planning to buy it at the Apple Store on St. Catherine street.

Is anybody else gonna be in line in MTL and if so how early are you going?

I've never done this before but I'll probably be there an hour to an hour and a half before the store opens. I just need to find out if the store will be opening early Friday morning or not.

I was also thinking of going downtown near my work, but i'm assuming it will be more packed there. But does that mean they may have more in stock?

My other option is to go to Fairview, where there is a Rogers store, Apple store and Best Buy.
Where do you think my best chances are?

I'm guessing that the St. Catherine Apple store will have the most stock and the biggest line outside.

I've been trying to find a webcam pointing down St Catherine street but the closes I found so far is near Peel.. Too far to see the Apple Store!

If you can get to Fairview you would have more options but they might have less stock - and you won't know about stock until whichever place you choose opens.

Nobody really knows until Friday morning!
