Should be able to with a VPN service.

VPN - purevpn or strongvpn.

From what people are saying, it works just great (you actually connect from a server in the US so the website you're visiting or app doesn't know you're not in the US). I think if you search VPN even here at ehMac, you'll get enough info and some suggestions on which services people use and like.

Yes. ABC Player works great with a VPN service. I'm using PureVPN with my iPad and have had no problems with watching shows through it.

Shared VPN works just fine.

I use StrongVPN with an option to switch servers in several countries and even several locations within specific countries. The U.S. servers will enable ABC player to work. More importantly, on a desktop or laptop you can access Hulu or BBC iPlayer which are flash based. Depending on who your internet provider is you can also the peered connections to get better transfer rates, etc.
