HD NIN For Free (Legit)

Another Version of the Truth: The Gift | THIS ONE IS ON US

Nine Inch Nails - Lights in the Sky tour in high definition for free

They have simply every format from iPod to Apple TV, dual layer DVD etc.
I just downloaded the dual layer DVD torrent and burning it as I type this. Damn Rogers throttling... 235k/sec

I'm afraid I'm not enough of a NIN fan to pursue this, though I did see them on tour (with Bowie!) once.

However, this is just another "legal" torrent to continue the recent movement of using torrents for legitimate distribution (yes, I know this has always been around, but its starting to "bubble up" into the public consciousness). I recently read of a 7.5 hour "documentary" on the Bergens-Benen train run (in Norway) in 720p that's available for free as a legal torrent. Now, most of you are probably shaking your head, but to me that sounds terribly interesting and I might just have to go get that.

I am very pleased to see good-quality "premium" content being distributed legally via P2P and I hope the trend continues.

Thanks for the tip! I am surprised this didn't make any of the blogs I read because NIN usually does for their 'openness'.

D/Ling the Apple TV version now...

Hats off to NIN for this!!! I will download the Apple TV copy... hmmm, it's almost 5 Gs. I suppose i will need to be buying a bigger Apple TV. Hmmm...

Torrent, may have it's limited uses for legal distribution. the Blu-Ray copy is 25Gs! That would take the better part of a week to download. It's unrealistic. If you have the $100 a month internet package then who cares but what do you do with a 25G file.

No problem guys! Quality is top notch! Didn't take that long to download the 6.86gb dual layer but could have been faster if it weren't for Rogers throttling torrents :-P

The quality is very good. A little grainy in the dark scenes, but that's to be expected.

The download speed was very fast for me.. there must be lots of seeders. Tomato MLPPP router firmware + TekSavvy DSL = No Bell torrent throttling!
