New Remote

Any comments. My wife can't stand the cheap plastic remotes hanging around for Apple TV etc. The new design looks much better with a replaceable battery.

Personally, I have a Logitech Harmony remote which controls the AppleTV as well as all of my other audio/video devices. One does it all.

The old design had a replaceable battery as well. I agree though, the new aluminum looks sturdier and looks better to hold.

+1

Heck, it even controls my PS3 now that I picked up the Harmony IR to BT adapter for the PS3. The only device I have left that the Harmony doesn't work with is the Wii. That isn't a big issue since the Wii controllers have the power on/off capability anyhow. Few people use their Wii as a media player.

Shame it's still IR. Would be nice to have an Apple remote with a better range.

You want an iPod touch running Apple's Remote App.
