3G data is not loading

Anyone having problems loading data through 3G today? My apps load data fine from Edge and WiFi but for an hour or two its not loading data from 3G. I actually had my iPhone exchanged yesterday due to the screen coming loose from the gasket but the new iPhone loaded data fine in 3G. I'm living in Calgary area so I don't know if the network is down.

That's funny. I had the same issue yesterday. No 3G no matter what I tried: restart, etc. I called Fido, and they said to change from "Automatic" to "Fido", which I did, and the problem was solved. If anyone has any insight into what the heck is going on, I'd sure be interested.

Infact, this morning I had the problem again, thinking it was fixed. I had to set it to rogers then back to automatic and it worked. Their network is acting really strange.

I happened to wake at 4:15 this morning and turned to my iPhone to see what time it was. I got a notice that my network couldn't be found. I told it to search and it came back with only Edge. I ran a speed test and confirmed Edge speeds. After a few minutes I lost the network again. I left it for a few minutes then tried hooking up again. This time I got 3G so I ran the speed test again and got rates a good 30-50% higher than I've ever seen (now over 3Kbps, sometimes even 3.5Kbps). It still is fast now a couple hours later. There is something odd though. I'm getting NO 'bars'.

PS. I'm in Ottawa.
