Question for unlocked/jailbroken 2G iPhone owners

Are you finding your phone running slower on 3.0? Mine seems to be running slower and it also seems to be running out of memory. I notice now that many of the apps when I quit them doesn't shrink down but instead quits suddenly to the home screen. I also noticed that animation like deleting a note to the trash isn't as smooth as it was on 2.2.1. I've unlocked with pwnage and bumped up the root partition size to 650mb to see if that helped but so far is doesn't appear so.

Any other 2G owners finding their phones running slower?

I just sold a 2G to a friend. I installed 3.0, and it seemed fine... but obviously not as quick as the 3G/3GS. I better check to make sure all is good?!

I found the same with redsn0w. Used pwnage tool and everything's snappier and the artery isn't affected. (redsn0w seemed to cause it to drain, even with all things turned off - push, location wifi, bluetooth)

I haven't noticed much of a difference.. I suppose when looking for speed issues, some things seem a little slower, but i generally take those minute things with a grain of salt.. newer OS on older hardware, there are bound to be some things that aren't as snappy.
