Family Plan over $100 count as discounted 3gs price?

HI,

I bought my iPhone 3G 8GB on the first day of November and our family spend over $100 with all our phones, we only have one iPhone though (which is mine). I was wondering if I'd be eligible for the $449/549 price or the $199/$299 price with a family plan being over $100 or do Rogers look at each line separately? Since I didn't buy my iPhone in July-Sept last year, would Rogers still have the offer during Oct-Dec this year for me to upgrade (since then it would be 1 year for me)?

Agreed just call them. With Rogers you just never know.

As an example, I got bored and checked through Rogers online and under wireless it asked if I wanted to upgrade to the 3GS. My cell plan is only 92 a month and then is discounted further because, well, Rogers screws up... A LOT!

I clicked the upgrade option just to see what it would cost and it gave me the $199/$299 options. Only thing I can see is that because my cable and internet are all under my wireless bill now I somehow qualified that way. Now I just have to get rid of this darned 3G

I was told last December that the iPhone could not be purchased with a family plan, nor used with one (there is probably a way around this).

So I wonder if this had changed or the couple of different rogers reps were lying.

Yeah I checked online in my account on Rogers and it states $449/$549. Weird thing is that the other two phones on my account don't show an upgrade option to iPhone 3GS rather iPhone 3G for $299/$349 , Only mine shows upgrade to 3GS
