For those of you upgrading from 3G to 3GS...

What's the market like for used 3G models? The ads and prices vary pretty widely on Craigslist.

Are you having any difficulty selling your old iPhone? How close to covering your upgrade costs? As you can tell, I'm seriously considering taking advantage of Rogers' upgrade offer.

Feel free to PM if you care to share the actual selling price of your used iPhone.

I am keeping mine and giving it to the wife and kids. Also, as far as I read you can reuse the screen if you shatter the 3gs.

I have to think the market is going to be saturated with used 3 g phones.

I hope the market is saturated with used 3Gs (note the small s). I have two teenagers negotiating to see who gets my 3G. If I can snag another at a decent price (as in cheap), they will both get one.

I sold my 8GB 3G on the weekend (it was a 2 week old refurb) for $400. I advertised on Craigslist locally. I didn't even get a chance to post it on Kijiji.

A quick look at Craigslist shows the 3Gs anywhere from about $250-$400 depending on the condition (this is 8GB I am referring to) and seller.
