Iphone 3G Tethering using bluetooth with Tiger
In case anyone is interested to know if iphone OS 3.0 tethering using bluetooth works with Tiger I can say that it does.
First you will need to turn on tethering on your iphone (you will need to have a 1G or higher data plan)
On the phone, in Settings, choose General > Network > Internet Tethering.
Slide the Internet Tethering switch to On.
You will then need to pair your iphone to your computer.
Then turn on the blue tooth function from the preference pane in system prefs.
Then from the blue tooth icon in the menu bar choose join Network on "iphone name".
Your phone should then say tethering and the menu should turn blue.
You should then be able to connect to the internet on your computer through your phone.
