Now I'm wondering: do we take this to the CRTC **now** as a potential contravention of the spirit of Net Neutrality, or do we wait? I am for starting some kind of formal action, possibly through Michael Geist's excellent blog Michael Geist - Blog to stop this obvious contravention of the spirit of the Internet BEFORE Rogers gets going on this in 2010.

The CRTC isn't going to touch this issue, as in, not ever. And the contract you signed with Rogers says they can do what they want with your phone's features. But good luck.

I am one of these people I am planing on buying an iPhone sometime soon and this is a huge appointment I could see AT&T offering this soon but for an increased charge. Right now they offer tethering on other phones but require a $60 month data plan, not worth it.
