Hey all...
over the past weekend I used my 2G iPhone quite a bit, and it shut off when it said that there was only 10% battery life left.

brought it into the office and plugged it in ALL day yesterday...yet while it seems to work fine....that 10% notice still comes up when I plug it into my dock, and the top right corner still shows that teensy red icon at 10% too.

is there anyway I can "re-set" that to make it actually tell me the correct battery level...

or...is it "stuck" at 10% forever?

have you tried powering the phone down (hold down the power button until you get the red slider and then turn it off) and then turning it back on (hold the power button down until you get the apple logo)? many people don't realize that it's running an os (in this case a downgraded version of os x) and you can get glitches. i turn mine off at night and back on in the morning... ymmv!

yup..that hard reset did the trick...thanks, never would'a thought it could be that easy!
