I have the Ivyskins case and it too has scratched the back of my phone and the chrome trim. It sucks since the phone was flawless before I put it in the case.
Add a vote for the Contour Flick. I have it as well, and it has held up very nicely. As previous poster indicated, the shiny back of it does get a bit scratched up, but I don't even notice that. Also, it was the only hard case I found that left the chrome bezel around the phone exposed. I think the chrome is one of the key defining parts of the phone, and hated how all the other cases seemed to have to cover it up. I've dropped the phone onto pavement or concrete from ear height a number of times, with no ill effects so the case does its job.
Also, I have a Zagg screen cover - installed correctly, it's basically invisible, and I really like the feel of the Zagg - it somehow resists getting greasy and fingerprinty, etc. I'd hate going back to the way the glass felt after having used this for a few months.

I have the Incase Slider in white (Slider Case for iPhone 3G : Incase Product) and really like it. While it does increase the size of the phone, it's not outrageous. Plus it's a hard, glossy shell that helps get the phone in and out of my pocket. No grabby rubber like my 1st gen iPhone case.
I make sure to take the iPhone out of the case on a regular base to wipe away any dust or lint that gets inside. So far the case hasn't done any damage to the back of the phone, but the chrome bezel at the bottom has been lightly worked over. While it's pretty, the chrome bezel has always been impossible to keep scratch free.
And I will never dangle my phone clipped to my belt. That's for home inspectors and government lackeys!

I like the Marware cases because they use a standard interchangeable clip. There is a belt clip, one for my bike's handlebars, a sport wrap, etc. I've been using their cases for 3 years now going back to my iPod.
Sometimes difficult to find in the Canadian stores. I think I got mine in the Buffalo Apple Store.
I like that Marware CEO sleeve. Can you purchase that in store, or is it online only?
Decent price as well.
I think I got mine in the Buffalo Apple store. If I recall, I asked in the Toronto area stores and they didn't seem to carry it.
Try to avoid ordering anything from Marware. They are pretty good, but the duties will kill you. I ordered the accessory kit and it was a good price ($20) but I think it was almost that same amount in duties and taxes when it was delivered.
