If I added data to my hacked iphone, would there be any problem with the data not working on my iphone?

You're going to have to be more specific about 'hacked'.

Seeing as you're still with Rogers, I'm going to assume you don't mean unlocked.

So that leaves Jailbroken.

If jailbroking would have made it not working, then you wouldn't be able to make calls either. It should be fine.

Yes, sorry I Jailbroke my phone, it is @ 2.0.

Being non-legit is debatable, since the act of jailbreaking itself is not illegal, but its a sucker punch to Apple's shrink wrapped Terms of Use.

But that being said, a jailbroken ipod and iphone don't look any different to iTunes and as a result would not appear any differently on Rogers network. The worse that could happen is Rogers failing to provide you with any tech support if you mentioned your phone is jailbroken.

everything will work fine. My data was working when my 3G was jailbroken, and my data worked flawlessly on my unlocked 1st gen iPhone (still does), rogers doesnt care as long as you keep paying them their premium (BS) data rates.
