What do you all think of Fido's new brand? As a subscriber, I'm not a fan. I hope the quality of my service remains the same, in terms of both reception and customer service.
Looks like they were bought out by yellowpages or NO NAME and used clipart for a logo. It makes the new Bell logo look like a piece of fine art though. The site takes forever to load now too, damn people and their unnecessary use of flash.

Is it me or did the $60 iPhone plan drop its data from 1Gig to 500 meg? They have a $65 plan that includes 1Gig data if you dig around the site though.
Surprisingly plain and childish, indeed. Maybe they do see Koodoo as their main competition. But then again, the design is quite... empty. It's leaps and bounds away from the original.
En passant, Fido has never been Rogers' discount brand. They are more the consumer/individual side of the Rogers' Corp offer, where the Rogers brand is more geared towards large corporate accounts.

I went to fido.ca asking myself just how bad it could be. Ughh...I thought the site had been hacked when it first loaded. Whose bright idea was this?
I was a loyal Fido customer until Rogers bought them and then I jumped to Telus. All the cutesy animals do wear thin, but at least it's not garish yellow.
