new iPhone 3G USB Power Adapter
Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forums since I'm considering to buy an iPhone.

We all know Apple has issues about the iPhone 3G power adapter. As Apple said, the new adapter should be start shipping last Friday. I'm wondering if anyone has received their new adapter.


Also, does anyone know whether I will be still getting the old adapter if I order the iPhone from Fido now?
This is the main reason why I still haven't got my iPhone.

You won't, mine's been shipping for 14 business days because it's backordered for that exact reason.

I got my new adapter over a week ago. You can tell the new adapter by the prongs. The old prongs were squared off at the end. The new ones are bevelled.

and the green dot :P Got mine over a week ago. if you're near an apple store I heard that they have replacements in store now.

Don't really need a picture... if you see a bright green dot about half a cm wide on the prong end... it's the new one.

The adapter I received with my phone doesn't have a green dot but the Apple site says it doesn't qualify for replacement. Methinks this is their way of making me go to a physical store (yuck!).
