iPhone Screen Not Turning on During a Call

Anyone else have this issue? Sometimes while a call i need to access my screen to get something from my contact list but the sensors dont let me turn it back on, it acts up sometimes this way.

Do you have a case or screen protector on?

Sometimes cheap screen protectors can cause issues with the proximity sensors, as well as some cases may cover or slightly cover them.

Are you really scared to leave you iPhone screen unprotected? Let me just tell you, that this screen is tough as hell. I had a 1st Gen for 8 months, with no screen protection, it was still as shiny as the day I got it. Same goes for my 3G.

And yes it's the plastic that is interfering with the sensors.

If the smudges bother you go for the anti-glare film they have at the Apple Store. Works well and you can't see smudges or fingerprints.

LOL that's just something you need to get used to. It's gonna get fingerprints and smudges. You can wipe it off easily on jeans and anything really and it's back like new! Unless you can stop your skin from producing oils, live with it!! hahaha
