iPhone Accelerometer Issue?

Weird issue with my iPhone's accelerometer...

1. I got into a program that can use landscape - ie. Safari
2. Tilt to landscape mode and browse for a bit
- After I tilt it back vertically it stays in landscape mode

If I hit the home button and go back in, it will display vertically like its supposed to...but initially its stuck.

Does anyone else see something similar to this? There are some apple forum posts with the same issues.

Is this something a firmware update will fix (seems to be what people on the apple support discussions are thinking) or should I be asking Rogers to replace this?

when you're holding it upright try tilting the phone in towards you for a second, so you can see the apple logo (upside down) and then upright again. that seems to work for me.

Gave the tilt a try...no dice.

I may end up asking Rogers to ship me a new one (with the understanding I use this one until its received). If the new one does this as well...then I will wait for a firmware update.

Anyone else seeing this issue? Most of the posts on other discussion boards are from the US.

Thanks

Haven't played either...

I was thinking of it though to see the behaviour when moving the iPhone around.
