I was also going to suggest Henry's. They are a camera store that seems to also be practically an apple store, they definitely like their macs there.

But you found one...all is good. I ordered mine from the apple web site...and I am LOVING it.

No idea. I didn't see many in the display case; there may not have been any. I think I got one of the last 3 or 4 of the 8gb.

With the software upgrade, I had everything, taxes in, for approx. 345$. I think this also reflected a student discount-- although no one asked me for an ID.

It is simply the coolest gadget I've ever owned. It makes my sony ericcson look like an abacus.
