Hmm... it's not on Software update -- but some NICE feature updates. The WMA conversion is a HUGE strategic move... but on PeeCees ONLY?!!

Nice one! Now my Much Music Dance CD's won't have that small silent space between tracks.

And free songs, too. I've already downloaded "My Hero" by Foo Fighters.

only if you...

A) get a gift certificate or

B) Register with a free Pepsi song

These are meant for kids and teens to get buying music without needing credit cards.

Music Videos, while interesting, don't play very well on my iBook 700MHz. The audio/video synch is way off. The video runs smoothly enough but any visual tie to the vocals is lost.

I don't think it's a server overload thing since they are jsut downloading a QT file like they do on the web site for movie trailers. Movie trailers on the web site work fine but I haven't checked through the store.

I'm curious about this one. I've got a lot of those sorts of "much dance", "party mix", etc CDs. When you join tracks, does it make one huge file? I'm thinking from a random play point of view, when it hits this track, does it go off and play the whole darn CD at you, or does it still consider them distinct tracks?
