The DOS-text would NEVER get by Jobs -- but, it's a very artful video; perfectly vague and devoid of facts, like all of Apple's ads are
It's neat how the "The Shining" set "boots" -- right up to the fireplace
I know it's just a concept product, but I'm reminded of two quotes from Steve Jobs. One is that (and I quote, losely) "The PDA market is not a very fun place to be right now", and Apple is yet to resurrect the Newton. Another is that "People go to a computer to turn their brains on. A TV is where they go to turn their brains off." This quote, along with the fact that watching video demands more from a person than a portable scenario allows (you can jog and drive while listening to music; you can;t with video), makes me think that video-on-the-go is an area that will have trouble gaining traction -- and is an area Apple will probably steer clear of.
