Hi everyone,

Since all the iPods share the $25 price hike on top of the regular price, how much will the iPod mini increase with the recording industry levi tax?

Apple did us a favour when it was first introduced and included the levi into its price whcih was the same price before.
So, instead of adding 25 bucks.. it was just included..
should be the same deal..

All iPod prices already reflect the inclusion of the levy. As do all mp3 players you can get in Canada.

The levy must be applied to the wholesale price; if you buy based on a retail ad for any MP3 player that does not include the levy (ie they add it at the cash register) report the incident and give a copy of the ad and any supporting receipts to the Federal Consumer agencies.

Whether or not the tarriff is 'hidden' in the price or not, Apple is still going to pass along some of this cost to the consumer.
