The next best thing to having an iPhone

I know the iPhone won't be around till June (in the U.S. at least), but maybe we can wait it out in the meantime with the following iPhone theme:

And the the ringtone from the IPhone (the one that Jobs had playing on his iPhone at Macworld):

http://www.reidburke.com/2007/01/10/iphone-ringtone/

Please note the theme won't work unless you have a Symbian 3rd edition OS phone.

The fake, useless icons in the middle of the wallpaper need to go...

There you go, that version doesn't have the icons in the middle.

Here's a version of the ringtone that has better fidelity:

And if you want to do it yourself, here it is in musical notation:

There's even a MIDI file there for those who don't have phones that play MP3's.

Yep. They exist. My wife's old T720 Motorola could only do MIDI ringtones and that phone is only 2 years old. I replaced it with a Motorola ROKR that I won in a contest.

I like to follow rhetorical questions with question marks.

Even some old smartphones can't play mp3s. Then again, I can edit video on mine--but I don't.

I just put that ringer on my Razr (gotta love bluetooth!)
When I first saw the iPhone I realized that the same clown fish picture is a desktop picture that comes with OSX and that I also had it on my Razr from a while back.
