I am wondering if anyone can help with a fix. I have two computers which I share some audio books (audible.com). On the one (G5 PowerMac) I can listen to the book, stop, change to some music, and then resume to where I last listened to the book. On the other computer (G4 Mini) once I step off the book, it will automatically reset to the beginning of it (very frustrating).

Both have the latest version of iTunes. On the G4 it's not just books, but music too; it's just a lot less bothersome when you lose your mark for a song.

Any fixes or ideas?

Only thing I can think of is that the "Remember playback position" checkbox has been unchecked ("Get Info" on the file in iTunes, choose the "Options" tab). Unfortunately it is a file-by-file option only. I also don't have any audiobooks so I can't say if that option is even there, although I can't imagine why it wouldn't be.
