Accessing Canadian content at the iTunes Music Store
A friend in the U.S. says he wants to buy Canadian songs through the iTunes Music Store, but any efforts to set up an account immediately brands him American--credit card info, etc.--and cuts access to the Canadian content.
I offered to buy a few songs on his behalf, but he says there are at least a hundred he wants.
I don't want to give anyone access to my Canadian account. Is there a simple way to accommodate this person's request? (Oh, the person inists on PAYING for the songs, so P2P is not an option).
I would be happy to do a fund swap with him. I need someone to buy "gift" me some video from the US store (I have an account but no US payment method).
I wouldn't want to give up any access to my account so we'd have to do the gift certificate thing to set up an account.

Are we trading $ value at par now? LOL
that would make things much easier - you could just buy iTunes gift certificates online and swap #s.

I was figuring I would give some exchange value but if you think about it, par makes sense. The tunes cost the same in each countries store. $1 buys you one song. We would both be getting the same value.
