Countdown to half a billion songs on ITMS

There is another promotion to count down to half a billion songs sold ... similiar to the 100 million countdown contest from before.

That is a pretty impressive grand prize. 10K songs download is incredible. I dont know many people that have that much pirated music.

FWIW, you don't have to purchase a song to win as there is a free alternative for those who are either too strapped to buy 100s of songs over the next while or can't stand the sight of DRM no matter how relatively convenient.

I did a simple equation to know when this contest will end, and if things stay the same, it'll take 7 days from now!! I did this on Windows calculator, so it might not be accurate.
