iPod PocketDock Combo?
does anyone know of a place i can pick up one of these locally in the GTA? i'm looking specifically for the USB/FW version.

I think you might be able to pick one up from any Compusmart locations or if you're near the downtown area try Computer Systems Centre at College and Spadina or Carbon Computing at Queen and Broadview.

welp, just called the Yorkdale Apple Store and they never heard of it and what is was for. :P

btw, gmark, how BIG is the adapter compared the iPod docking cable? i'm also looking for a case for my iPod Mini and need to consider fitting the adapter with the case on.

Just saw the Firewire-only version at my local Future Shop for $29.99.

It's 1/3 longer than the actual dongle of the included cable but of course it has a firewire port built-in too.

You'll need to find a case that has the dock connector accessible from the bottom.
