not much. and i HATE that buying the remote gets you stuck with another pair.

My friend wants them so it will look like he has an iPod. I don't know how much to charge him.

Well, let's hope he doesn't get mugged for a non-iPod! I, for one, bought another set of headphones, mostly because the ones from Apple are decidedly ordinary, but also because I'm not particularly keen on walking around downtown advertising the fact that I'm wearing a $500 iPod.
