iP5 promised for Oct 9, now shipped

By the time I decided to order new phone, it was mid day on the 1st day of orders and was showing 2 weeks (Oct 9) delivery time. I just checked the order out of curiosity to find it was shipped out 2 days ago, with the most current scan in Korea.

I guess they put on an extra shift at the factory.

Your lucky that your shipment is arriving sooner than the expected date. I had to reserve through Fido's Reservation System and it seems like it will take a while (1 -2 weeks) before it comes...

But if it takes that long, you'll get a $50 credit for your "patience" so that's good!
