Hi Guys. I've had a 4 for going on 2 years. Unfortunately, I've been in the habit of keeping it in the same pocket as my unused "emergency" kleenex (yeah, I know).

A couple months ago I noticed that my photos were starting to get fuzzy but didn't look closely enough until recently to see that pocket fuzz (paper fibre, lint) has been entering through the cable port and has badly obscured the camera lens.

Question: is it worth making an apointment at an Apple store to have someone open it up and clean it or should I just wait and upgrade to a new phone this fall? What do they charge for this sort of service?

With a little guts and finesse this is totally a do it yourself operation. Dead easy, little compressed air or lint free cloth and you're golden.
